Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Technical Content Writer to join our team to produce high-quality, engaging, and accurate technical content. You will be responsible for translating complex technical concepts into accessible, easy-to-understand language for a variety of audiences, including developers, IT professionals, and end-users..
Responsibilities:
- Content Development: Research, outline, write, and edit high-quality technical content including blog posts, tutorials, whitepapers, case studies, and user documentation.
- Complex Translation: Take complex, technical information and simplify it into clear, concise, and engaging content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) Collaboration: Work closely with software developers, engineers, product managers, and marketing teams to understand product features and gather technical details.
- Visual Aid Integration: Create or collaborate on visual aids like diagrams, charts, screenshots, and videos to increase user understanding.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience as a technical writer, technical content writer, or similar role in a technical environment (SaaS, software development, IT).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional, clear, and concise writing skills in English, with a portfolio showcasing technical writing samples.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of technical topics (e.g., API documentation, SaaS platforms, coding basics).
- Tools: Proficiency in Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, and familiarity with tools like Markdown, Git, Confluence, Jira, or Adobe FrameMaker.
