Job Title: Technical Data & Quality Documentation Specialist

Pay Rate: Dependent upon experience

Location: Orlando, FL (On-site)

Position Summary:

This position performs various document control activities. This includes updating and releasing drawings and procedures. This position also performs internal audits of the QMS and related processes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates customer Source Inspections (Pre-cap and Final)
  • Generates customer Source Inspection data packages
  • Prepares data packages for space and hi-rel products.
    • Analyzes S2P data, creates as built and as designed listings, verifies traceability data, ensures production documentation is present
    • Verify document accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Creates data reports for key products which require electronic data submission
    • Follows various templates for data analysis
  • Tests both in-process and customer returned products to validate issue(s) and help determine root cause(s)
  • Validate procedures, documentation and assist in the writing and changing of documentation
  • Inspect products to various standards including J-STD-001 and Best Manufacturing Practices
  • Facilitates the creation and completion of First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102.
  • Assist with nonconformance documentation, corrective actions (CAPA), and root cause tracking.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to ensure accurate data flow
  • Contributes to Continuous Improvement efforts

  • Strong written and technical communication skills
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Good documentation skills and recording ability
  • Precise and ability to follow instructions exactly
  • Attention to detail ensuring accuracy of various data reports
  • Knowledge of how to use various test equipment – Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, ovens, spectrum analyzers, etc. is desired
  • Understand J-STD-001 standard regarding materials, methods, and acceptance criteria for producing soldered components and electronic assemblies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to maintain an organized and reliable work approach.
  • Must be able to work with ITAR data without a license

Education, Experience and Training:

  • Associate’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering with more than 2 years of applicable experience.
  • Applicable military experience is acceptable

Physical Requirements and Working Environment:

  • This role is performed on-site and primary an in-office role.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15lbs at times
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must adhere to safety policies and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
