- Required; shows their experience and pattern knowledge, examples of previous relevant work, speaks to the complexity of their pattern design work.
Must Haves
- 5+ YOE as a Technical designer in pattern making or adjusting patterns, can start from scratch or adjust existing patterns for women’s athletic wear
- Role is potentially athlete facing, can do functional work and be representative the brand
- Knowledge of garment construction for knits – knowledge of wovens could work as well, but knits is preferred
Nice to Haves
- Performance wear experience
- Outerwear experience, dresses and skirts
- PDM, PCX, PLM, Web based to add comments on changes – record keeping tools
Responsibilities / Description
- Build a technical clothing pattern based off of a designer's sketch
- Create a pattern as in the technical drawings and measurements of how a garment is constructed and fitted
- Create technical drawings and patterns of a shirt that that can be sewn from scratch
- Designs technical pattern and assess the fit of the garment
- Construct garments and writing technical documents that are used to create the clothing item
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $48.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
