About the Role

We’re looking for a senior technical professional for one of our clients who thrives on solving complex business challenges and delivering measurable impact. As a Technical Developer, you’ll combine deep Microsoft expertise with consulting skills to help Australian SMEs across Accounting, Legal, Manufacturing, Construction, Brokerage, Finance, and Logistics unlock 15–25 hours of productivity weekly through intelligent automation.

Key Responsibilities

Client Consultation & Discovery

• Lead discovery sessions with SME executives and teams across multiple industries.
• Assess business processes to identify automation opportunities in accounting, legal, manufacturing, construction, brokerage, finance, and logistics.
• Translate requirements into technical specifications while ensuring compliance with Australian regulations.

Solution Architecture & Development

• Design and implement Microsoft Power Platform solutions (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Copilot, chatbots).
• Leverage Azure AI services for document processing (contracts, financial statements, permits, logistics docs).
• Integrate Microsoft 365 with ERPs (MYOB, Xero, SAP, QuickBooks).

Technical Delivery & Optimization

• Build intelligent workflows using AI Builder and Microsoft Copilot to streamline accounting, legal, manufacturing, construction, brokerage, financial, and logistics operations.
• Ensure compliance with privacy, financial, and industry regulations.
• Deliver testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer.

Must-Have Skills

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, Copilot, chatbots).
• Proficiency in Azure AI services, AI Builder, Microsoft Copilot.
• ERP integrations with MYOB, Xero, SAP, QuickBooks.
• Knowledge of Australian compliance and data privacy requirements.

Industry & Business Acumen

• Experience with Australian SMEs across multiple industries.
• Strong understanding of workflows in accounting, legal, manufacturing, construction, brokerage, finance, and logistics.
• Proven track record of achieving measurable time savings and ROI.

Consulting & Communication

• Excellent client-facing and discovery leadership skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong project management; capable of managing multiple engagements.

Preferred

• Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Azure AI, Microsoft 365).
• Experience with business process optimization, digital transformation, or change management.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software solutions.
