Technical Draftsman – Fit-Out Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Draftsman with proven experience in interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate is an expert detailer who specializes in preparing comprehensive and accurate technical shop drawings, ensuring full coordination with design, site, and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical shop drawings for interior fit-out works (joinery, partitions, ceilings, flooring, custom elements, etc.)
• Develop accurate construction details and material specifications
• Review and interpret architectural and design drawings
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, site engineers, and subcontractors
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, local regulations, and client requirements
• Revise drawings based on consultant/client feedback
• Prepare as-built drawings upon project completion
• Conduct site visits when required for measurement and coordination

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior fit-out projects (commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential)
• Strong expertise in detailed shop drawings and construction detailing
• Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory)
• Knowledge of joinery detailing and custom fabrication drawings
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction methods
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Excellent coordination and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Drafting, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Experience in GCC projects is an advantage
• Knowledge of 3D software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit) is a plus
