Technical Draftsman – Interior Fit-Out

The Technical Draftsman will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed technical, shop, and as-built drawings for interior fit-out projects across shops and residential apartments. The role requires close coordination with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure drawings meet project specifications, timelines, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare shop drawings, joinery drawings, architectural layouts, and as-built drawings for shop and apartment fit-out projects
• Develop 3D models, layouts, and technical visualizations when required
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, and project managers to gather requirements and clarify technical details
• Revise drawings based on feedback from consultants, clients, and internal teams
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, material standards, and industry regulations
• Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and proper version control
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements and ensure drawing accuracy
• Support project teams with technical details, measurements, and material take-offs
• Assist in preparing joinery schedules and coordinate drawings with MEP services
• Ensure timely submission of drawings to support smooth project execution

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in interior fit-out projects (shops and/or apartments)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or similar software is an advantage
• Strong understanding of fit-out materials, joinery details, and site practices
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Good communication and coordination skills

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
