Technical Draftsman – Joinery Experience (Portfolio Required)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, technical drawings, and production drawings for joinery and fit-out projects
• Interpret architectural and interior design drawings into accurate manufacturing drawings
• Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and site supervisors
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and industry standards
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and client feedback
• Support factory and site teams during fabrication and installation

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Technical Draftsman in joinery, cabinetry, or interior fit-out
• Strong knowledge of woodworking materials, hardware, and production processes
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp (preferred)
• Cabinet Vision / TopSolid / similar joinery software (advantage)
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field
• 4+ years of joinery drafting experience
• Experience in high-end residential or commercial fit-out projects

Portfolio Requirement

Applicants must submit a portfolio including:

• Sample shop drawings (plan, elevation, section details)
• Joinery detailing (kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, wall paneling, custom furniture, etc.)
• 3D views (if available)
• Any completed project photos (before/after preferred)
