Technical Draftsman – Joinery & Interior Fit-Out.

HKZ Interior Decoration LLC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Draftsman with strong experience in joinery, woodworks, and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will play a key role in transforming design concepts into accurate technical drawings and production-ready documentation for high-quality residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drafting & Documentation

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for joinery, custom furniture, and interior fit-out works.
• Develop technical drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction drawings.
• Produce coordination drawings based on design and project requirements.
• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and production details for factory execution.
• Generate accurate as-built drawings upon project completion.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, production teams, and interior designers.
• Conduct site measurements and verify dimensions when required.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions, consultant comments, and project updates.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery, woodworks, and interior fit-out drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of joinery detailing, custom furniture drawings, and fit-out construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and technical drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• UAE experience is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SketchUp, 3Ds Max, or other drafting and visualization software is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, manufacturing processes, and production methods.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
