TECHNICAL DRAFTSMEN

Job Summary:

The Technical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and layouts for interior fit-out projects. The role involves working closely with the design, engineering, and project management teams to ensure accurate and precise drawings that meet project specifications, timelines, and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, joinery drawings, architectural drawings, and as-built drawings for fit-out projects.
• Develop 3D models, layouts, and technical visualizations when required.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, and project managers to collect project requirements and clarify technical details.
• Revise drawings based on comments from consultants, clients, and project teams.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards, material specifications, and project guidelines.
• Maintain organized drawing files, documentation, and version control.
• Conduct site visits to verify measurements and ensure drawing accuracy.
• Support the team with technical details, measurements, and material take-offs.
• Assist in preparing detailed joinery schedules and coordination drawings with MEP.
• Ensure timely submission of drawings and support the project execution team.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in the interior fit-out industry (joinery experience is a plus).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory), SketchUp, Revit, or other design software.
• Strong understanding of fit-out materials, joinery details, and site practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• High attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
