Technical Electrical Engineer & Technical Mechanical Engineer Required

We are seeking highly qualified and experienced Technical Electrical Engineers and Technical Mechanical Engineers to join our construction projects team. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support during all phases of project execution — from tendering and design review to implementation and final handover.

The engineers will play a key role in reviewing project documentation, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring that all technical, contractual, and quality requirements are met. Candidates must possess strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills, as well as deep knowledge of Saudi market standards, materials, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Documentation Review:
• Study project drawings, specifications, BOQ (Bill of Quantities), Method of Statement (MOS), and related correspondence in detail.
• Identify technical discrepancies, design conflicts, and areas requiring clarification or value engineering.
• Ensure that all technical requirements are fully understood and incorporated into project execution plans.
• Tendering and Estimation:
• Analyze tender documents and provide accurate technical input during the bidding stage.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, material take-offs, and technical proposals in coordination with the tendering department.
• Review vendor quotations and subcontractor offers for compliance with project specifications.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Liaise with the Procurement, Operations, and Planning departments to ensure timely and complete submission of technical and commercial offers.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and suppliers to resolve technical queries and ensure project alignment.
• Participate in technical meetings, presentations, and negotiations as required.
• Project Kick-Off and Execution Support:
• Participate in project kick-off meetings and hand over contract documents to the Project Manager and site execution teams.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance during project implementation to ensure adherence to design, schedule, and quality standards.
• Support the project management team in addressing technical issues, RFIs, and design modifications.
• Quality Assurance and Compliance:
• Ensure that all works are executed in accordance with international standards (IEC, ASHRAE, NFPA, etc.) and local Saudi regulations.
• Review and approve technical submittals, shop drawings, and material approvals.
• Monitor compliance with safety and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and deviation analyses for management review.
• Maintain proper documentation of design changes, material approvals, and correspondence for future reference and audit purposes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Strong background in construction methodologies, tendering, and design coordination.
• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and relevant engineering software.
• Familiarity with Saudi Aramco, SEC, SABIC, and Royal Commission standards is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with proficiency in English (Arabic is an advantage).
