Job Description
Under limited supervision, conducts work requiring independent evaluation, selection, adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
- Is fully competent in most aspects of the job.
- Works on projects of substantial complexity.
- May assume lead responsibilities for a team of engineers and professional support personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, design, and execution of road, infrastructure, and bridge projects.
- Provide technical expertise in road construction, utilities, drainage systems, and bridge engineering.
- Manage project teams, including engineers and subcontractors, to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and address any technical or operational issues.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and government authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee project budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, designs, and project documentation.
- Identify potential project risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Minimum of 12 years of civil engineering experience, with at least 10 years in the UAE.
- Must have a proven record of executing major bridges and highways/ Infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and project management processes.
- Must have relevant road and bridge project experience
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Abu Dhabi Municipality License (ADM) - at least 10 years
