Technical Engineer – Aluminium & Façade Projects

Job Summary:

AL QASSIM ALUMINIUM AND GLASS is looking for an experienced Technical Engineer with background in aluminium, glass, façade, and construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for technical coordination, shop drawings, material approvals, and supporting project execution as per approved specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and as-built drawings
• Study project drawings, specifications, and contract requirements
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, and project managers
• Prepare material submittals, method statements, and technical documents
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and site conditions
• Coordinate with production and site teams for smooth execution
• Resolve technical issues related to aluminium, glass, curtain wall, doors, windows, and cladding systems
• Maintain drawing revisions and project documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil / Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years UAE experience in aluminium, glass, façade, or construction industry
• Strong knowledge of façade systems, curtain wall, windows, doors, and cladding works
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
• Knowledge of Shop Drawing preparation and technical coordination
• Good communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• UAE façade project experience
• Immediate joiners preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
