Technical Engineer – BIM Support (Theming & Interior Fit-Out Works), suitable for construction, theming, and fit-out project

Technical Engineering

• Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method statements for theming and interior fit-out works.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Provide technical support to site teams during execution and resolve design-related issues.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers for technical clarifications and approvals.
• Assist in value engineering, design development, and constructability reviews.

BIM Support & Coordination

• Develop, update, and maintain BIM models (LOD as per project requirement) for theming and fit-out works.
• Coordinate BIM models with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to avoid clashes.
• Perform clash detection and support resolution of clashes in coordination with relevant teams.
• Extract drawings, quantities, and schedules from BIM models as required.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project BIM standards.

Theming & Interior Fit-Out Works

• Support technical detailing for theming elements such as sculptures, props, GRP, FRP, decorative finishes, and custom-built items.
• Assist in detailing of interior fit-out works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, finishes, and specialty installations.
• Coordinate mock-ups, samples, and prototype approvals with stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment of design intent with site execution.
• Provide on-site technical assistance during installation and inspections.
• Support preparation of as-built drawings and handover documentation.
• Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil, Architectural).
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in theming, interior fit-out, or specialty construction projects.
• Strong experience in BIM coordination for fit-out or theming works.
• Experience working in GCC projects is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and related BIM tools.
• Good understanding of theming materials (GRP/FRP, finishes, decorative elements).
• Knowledge of construction methods for interior fit-out works.
