Technical Engineer- Consruction

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Engineer – Construction to oversee and support the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. The role involves providing technical support, reviewing designs and drawings, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review construction drawings, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with project requirements and local regulations.
• Assist in planning construction activities and sequencing based on technical drawings and site constraints.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare reports on project progress, quality control, and compliance.
• Evaluate and approve materials and construction techniques based on specifications and standards.
• Provide technical input during procurement of construction materials and subcontracted works.
• Maintain and update project documentation, including RFI logs, method statements, and as-built drawings.
• Support the Project Manager in reviewing project schedules and budgets from a technical standpoint.
• Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with environmental and safety policies.

Requirements:

Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

• 3–6 years of experience in a construction or engineering role (experience on-site preferred).
• Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera (optional), and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
