Technical Engineer - Construction

We are seeking an experienced Technical Engineer with strong UAE construction experience. The candidate should have hands-on knowledge of authority portals, subcontractor administration, quantity surveying support, and coordination between procurement and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze project drawings and specifications
• Prepare and submit technical submittals, material approvals, and method statements
• Handle submissions and follow-ups through DM, DDA, and RTA portals
• Track authority approvals and inspection status
• Coordinate with consultants and authorities for technical clarifications
• Coordinate between procurement and project teams to ensure timely material approvals and delivery
• Follow up with procurement for approved materials as per project requirements
• Manage subcontractor documentation and administration
• Perform quantity take-offs and assist in BOQ verification
• Support quantity surveying and cost control activities
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built documentation
• Maintain proper technical and compliance records

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• 5–12 years UAE construction experience
• Experience handling DM, DDA, and RTA portals
• Knowledge of subcontractor administration
• Experience in quantity surveying and BOQ preparation
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office
• DM Approval (G+4 or above) preferred
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Immediate joiners preferred
