REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
SUMMARY: Drive business growth by understanding customer needs, providing technical support in the NPI process, and effectively articulating the value of our products.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts, ensuring timely communication, high satisfaction, and continued business growth.

Develop a deep understanding of flexible packaging materials, specifications, and medical industry requirements (e.g., ISO 11607, FDA regulations) to effectively support and advise customers.

Interpret customer drawings, technical specifications, and performance requirements, and communicate these effectively to internal team members, including Engineering, Quality, and Production.

Translate complex technical information into clear, customer-friendly messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Conduct consultative needs assessments with current and prospective customers to understand application requirements and recommend appropriate packaging solutions.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries, prepare detailed quotes and proposals, manage order entry, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time and in-spec delivery.

Support the sales team by providing technical information, preparing proposals, and collaborating on pricing and contract strategies in coordination with senior leadership.

Monitor inbound inquiries (e.g., from website or marketing campaigns) and follow up to qualify leads and identify potential sales opportunities.

Identify opportunities to grow sales within existing accounts and support efforts to win new business, including upselling and cross-selling solutions.

Provide pre- and post-sale technical support and troubleshooting assistance, acting as a liaison between the customer and internal departments.

Provide product training and technical onboarding for both customers and internal team members, ensuring thorough understanding of product features, performance, and compliance.

Gather customer feedback and collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams to enhance current products and inform the development of new solutions.

Participate in customer audits and technical meetings as needed, representing the company’s capabilities and commitment to quality.

Maintain accurate records of customer communications, quotes, and orders in the company’s CRM and ERP systems.

Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the medical packaging space to provide informed recommendations.

Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
-
$80,000 - $90,000 per year.

This is position is fully on site in Huntington Beach, CA with opportunity for a hybrid schedule after 1 year of employment.
