Technical Interior Designer

JD Interiors is looking for an experienced Architectural Designer.

You'll work closely with our design team to handle the technical side of each project, from initial site assessment through to final construction documentation. All creative direction, space planning, and material selections are led by the studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits alongside our team to assess existing conditions, take field measurements, and document as-built information
• Note any structural, mechanical, or construction constraints that may affect the design
• Draft floor plans, elevations, ceiling plans, cabinetry drawings, and construction details
• Prepare drawings for permits and contractors
• Ensure work meets building codes and construction standards

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture or Interior Design is required
• 2- 4 years of architectural experience
• Fluency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
• Strong knowledge of residential building systems, codes, and construction methods
• Detail-oriented and precise
• Able to work collaboratively and independently as needed

Compensation & Job Details

• Contract position
• Remote position with on-site visits required
• Project-based compensation
