With our footprint continuing to expand we are looking for a dedicated and professional Technical Lead – Business Systems & ERP.

Business Analyst

Location : Cairo, Egypt

The Technical Lead is responsible for the technical architecture, performance, and integrity of the organisation’s business systems, with a core focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) ERP. The role works in close daily partnership with the Business Systems Manager, BI Lead, and ICT teams, forming a unified delivery function that ensures systems are robust, scalable, secure, and responsive to the operational demands of mining services

This position collaborates extensively with Microsoft engineers, external partners, and internal ICT specialists to deliver integrated, high-quality solutions that strengthen asset reliability, operational visibility, and decision making across the organisation.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the technical architecture for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related systems, ensuring alignment with business, data, and IT strategies
• Work with ICT, BI, and infrastructure teams to design secure, scalable, and reliable system environments and integrations
• Lead the technical operation, performance, and support of D365 environments, including releases, issue resolution, and system stability across multiple sites
• Oversee integrations between ERP, operational systems, data platforms, and corporate tools to ensure reliable data flow and reporting capabilities
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate operational needs into effective technical solutions
• Provide technical leadership by mentoring developers and technical specialists while strengthening internal capabilities
• Manage relationships with Microsoft and external partners to deliver system enhancements and ensure architectural consistency
• Ensure systems meet governance, cybersecurity, compliance, and data management requirements
• Support technical planning and budgeting to ensure investments in ERP, integrations, and digital platforms deliver operational value

Requirements

• Extensive experience delivering technical solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 within mining services, heavy industry, engineering, or other asset-intensive environments
• Strong background in ERP architecture, integrations, data engineering, and cloud technologies, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Proven experience collaborating with BI teams, ICT infrastructure teams, and external technology partners
• Deep understanding of D365 technical architecture, integration frameworks, and data structures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in operationally critical environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, able to work effectively with business leaders, ICT teams, and technology partners
• Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Microsoft D365 technical certifications strongly preferred
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure DevOps is desirable
• ITIL, cloud, or DevOps certifications are an advantage
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment
• Flexible approach, with the willingness to work outside normal hours if required
