Job Description
Role Overview
As the AI Feature Factory Technical Lead, you will drive the design and development of AI-driven products, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Machine Learning systems. You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of AI features, from experimentation to production-grade deployment, ensuring scalability, low latency, and high performance. You will lead a team of engineers, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation, code quality, and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Architectural Leadership: Lead the architectural design of scalable, secure, and resilient AI applications (microservices, LLM pipelines, Agentic AI).
- Hands-on Development: Develop, fine-tune, and deploy AI models (LLMs, RAG, traditional ML) using Python and relevant frameworks.
- Productionization (MLOps): Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and model monitoring/observability tools to ensure reliable deployment.
- Feature Factory Efficiency: Streamline the "Build-Measure-Learn" cycle for AI features, prioritizing rapid prototyping (PoCs) followed by industrialization.
- Code Quality & Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor junior/mid-level engineers.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and DevOps to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions.
- Governance & Ethics: Ensure compliance with Responsible AI practices, including model fairness, data privacy, and hallucination control.
Required Technical Skills
- Languages: Expert-level Python.
- AI/LLM Frameworks: Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Scikit-learn.
- GenAI Stack: Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI API, vector databases (Pinecone, Milvus), and RAG architectures.
- Cloud & Infrastructure: Proficiency in Azure (preferred)
- Backend/API: Experience building REST/GraphQL APIs (FastAPI, Flask)
Required Experience
- Minimum 7+ years in software engineering, in a Technical Lead role.
- Proven experience in deploying production-grade AI/ML applications.
- Experience in Agile methodologies (sprint planning, backlog refinement).

- Time-to-production for new AI features.
- Production model uptime
- Model evaluation metrics (e.g., accuracy, hallucination rates)
