Technical Lead / Manager (MD Clearance Required)

Nexxis Solutions is looking for a strong Technical Lead / Manager (prime contract) who is also willing to jump in and do hands-on work when required. This position requires strong technical, leadership and customer facing skills.

• Lead IT program management for diverse networks and systems (cloud, thick client, data center, AI, wireless networks, customer hardware)
• Lead team of approximately 10 engineers
• Work closely with Nexxis management
• Work closely with customer technical leadership
• Develop and align IT strategic goals with organizational objectives
• Lead workforce engagement sessions on both strategic and tactical IT issues
• Support planning program activities, analyzing requirements, consider financial constraints, present options, and set strategic timeframes to accomplish
• Work with Researchers, ISSO, SMEs to resolve both tactical and strategic IT concerns
• Work with ISSO and System Owners to manage resolution to STE/STN and compliance requirements
• Manage technical tasking
• Manage requirements management portals and ticketing systems
• Maintain strong relationships with contractor team and R2 leadership/workforce
• Support/Manage task order cross-functional team
• System Integrity – software engineering, IT
• Applied Concepts – software development (AI/ML, LLM, CTI, tool development)
• Secure Virtual Platform – IT, Networks, Systems
• Research
• SSP Management
• Physical Infrastructure Support
• Consultation to other organizations
  

Degree Requirements: B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field is required. A Masters or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is a plus but not required.

Experience Requirements

• 20+ years of experience; additional experience will be considered in lieu of degree
• Technical background in software engineering, computer systems, and networks
• Experience or willingness to learn SSP processes is required
  
  

Clearance Requirements: Current DoD TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph is required.

• Salary range: Senior level: $200 to 260k*
