Job Overview:
The Technical Manager will lead the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) execution of solar and renewable energy projects while simultaneously driving power sale initiatives. This dual-role position requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and the ability to manage client relationships from project conception through power offtake agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and manage EPC solar and renewable energy projects from feasibility to commissioning.
- Oversee technical feasibility studies, layouts, and system design ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Manage vendors, contractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective and timely execution of projects.
- Conduct technical evaluations for materials, equipment, and systems.
- Supervise on-site activities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality norms.
- Develop marketing strategies for power sales to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients.
- Liaise with utilities, regulators, and clients for approvals and agreements related to power purchase or open access.
- Prepare proposals, techno-commercial offers, and power sale presentations for potential clients.
- Collaborate with finance and legal teams for project costings, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Stay updated on technical advancements and market trends in the renewable power sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s
- degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Energy Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in renewable energy or power sector, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience handling EPC solar projects and power sale/power marketing activities.
- Strong project management and client-handling skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools, AutoCAD, and solar simulation software (e.g., PVSyst).

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
