Job Summary

The Technical Manager will take ownership of all technical matters within the FuelBase Middle East Business Unit, supporting multiple regional markets.

The role involves managing all technical and product-related activities, preparing technical documentation and reports, conducting regional trainings, supporting distributors and customers, and coordinating cross-functional projects with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.

This is a factory-based leadership role with frequent regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate technical projects in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams
  • Provide advanced technical support and product expertise to distributors and key customers
  • Conduct regular regional market visits to assess product gaps and competitor offerings
  • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes
  • Prepare and manage technical documentation (TDS, MSDS, product specifications, presentations, leaflets)
  • Resolve product-related technical issues and oversee corrective actions
  • Manage laboratory testing procedures and interpretation of test reports
  • Support HQ and internal departments on technical compliance matters
  • Conduct distributor trainings and organize technical workshops across the region
  • Drive continuous improvement in product performance and application

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Automotive or related field)
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and lubrication technology
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in automotive lubricants or oil manufacturing
  • Experience in technical management, product management, or technical sales
  • Proven experience in factory or blending plant operations preferred
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written); Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • No travel restrictions (regional travel required)
