Technical Office Manager

We're Hiring: Technical Office Manager.

Reports to: Head of Projects.

Location: Obour City, Egypt.

Role Summary : lead and manage the technical aspects of airport and helipad design projects, providing specialized expertise and overseeing multidisciplinary technical teams. The Technical Office Manager ensures that all design deliverables meet aviation industry standards and client requirements while coordinating with Project Managers to support successful project delivery.

Ke y Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership & Design Management:

1. Provide expert technical leadership for airport and helipad design projects
2. Oversee design development from conceptual phase through detailed engineering
3. Ensure compliance with aviation standards (ICAO, FAA, local aviation authorities)
4. Review and approve technical deliverables and design documentation.

Multidisciplinary Team Leadership:

1. Manage team leaders from Civil, Electrical, and MEP engineering disciplines
2. Coordinate technical work across different engineering specializations
3. Ensure effective collaboration and integration of multidisciplinary designs
4. Provide technical mentorship and professional development for team members.

Project Coordination & Support:

1. Collaborate with Project Managers to align technical deliverables with project schedules
2. Provide technical expertise and guidance during project planning phases
3. Support Project Managers in technical risk assessment and mitigation
4. Participate in client technical meetings and design presentations.

Design Standards & Quality Assurance:

1. Establish and maintain technical design standards and procedures
2. Implement quality control processes for all technical deliverables
3. Conduct design reviews and technical audit
4. Ensure adherence to company design guidelines and best practices.

Technical Resource Management:

1. Allocate technical resources across multiple projects based on expertise and availability
2. Manage technical team workloads and capacity planning
3. Coordinate with Projects Manager on resource requirements and scheduling
4. Identify technical training needs and skill development opportunities.

Innovation & Technical Development:

1. Stay current with aviation industry trends and technological advances
2. Implement innovative design solutions and methodologies
3. Develop technical capabilities and expertise within the organization
4. Contribute to proposal development and technical bid preparations

Quali fi cations &Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or related field; Master's degree preferred
2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in aviation infrastructure design
3. Extensive experience in airport and helipad design projects
4. Professional engineering license and relevant certifications
5. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams
6. knowledge of aviation design standard and regulatory requirements
7. Experience with aviation design softwires and technical tool

4. Proficiency in aviation design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.)
