Job Title: Technical Officer – MEP (Generator Maintenance)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Officer – MEP with expertise in generator maintenance, covering both electrical and mechanical systems, with a stronger focus on the electrical side.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of generators and associated MEP systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults in generators.
• Carry out testing, inspection, and servicing of generator equipment.
• Monitor generator performance and ensure operational reliability.
• Maintain electrical control panels, wiring systems, breakers, and related equipment.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure timely completion of work.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare maintenance reports and documentation.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Oil & Gas experience required
• Proven experience in generator maintenance and MEP systems.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
• Familiarity with generator control systems and electrical panels.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.

Preferred Skills:

• Hands-on experience with diesel generators and backup power systems.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage maintenance activities efficiently.

Pay: QAR3,000.00 per month
