Overview

The Reivernet Group is made up of seven entities: RN Projects, Reivernet, IT Triage, Site Compass, Bright Star, RN Gateway and RGC Management. We design, build, configure, support and document complex data networks for business, with a focus on hotel networks.

Bright Star is searching for a Technical Product Manager in ANZ to join the growing team, as we scale. Bright Star's platform Stella, is an industry-specific platform that has been built to eliminate labour-based challenges. In full implementation, Stella is our customers single network operating platform, allowing them to automatically discover, audit, configure, manage, and document their portfolio of networks.

The Stella functionality is available via four independent modules - Discovery, Compliance, Configuration and Monitoring, which are orchestrated by Stella Central to create a horizontally integrated control platform to provide independent network visibility,configuration management and risk identification.

About the role

Technical Product Manager (TPM) is critical in bridging business strategy and technical execution by defining product vision, creating roadmaps, translating user needs into technical requirements, and collaborating with engineering and other cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle. The TPM achieves this through collaborating with cross functional stakeholders, monitoring technology and vertical specific trends, defining and prioritising product features, assessing technical risks, and ensuring product quality and alignment with company goals. TPM focuses on providing leadership and guidance, acting as a subject matter expert, and advocating for the product's vision.

What you'll do
  • Converting prioritised feature requests into detailed designs for engineering team to implement
  • Supporting product vision and strategy, considering market trends, customer needs, and business goals
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, the product owner, customers, and development teams to gather requirements and recommend prioritisation based on business value, feasibility, and technical constraints.
  • Develop and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the timeline, milestones, and features of the product, ensuring alignment with the overall product strategy as defined by CPO
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering teams, product designers, marketing, and sales, to ensure effective coordination throughout the product development lifecycle
  • Conducting market and competitive analysis by monitoring market trends, competitors, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities, anticipate market changes, and make informed product recommendations.
Who you are

The TPM is critical in ensuring that the product delivers maximum value for Bright Star's customers which leads to higher customer satisfaction, retention and growth.

You will have a proven track record in software development and system architecture, coupled with a strong understanding of the entire product development lifecycle-from UX/UI design and prototyping to MVP (Minimum Viable Product) delivery. You will be experienced in market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven decision-making to inform product direction and adept at communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are skilled in critical decision-making and conflict resolution throughout the product development process.
