Position Summary

The Technical Product Operations Manager serves as the ultimate connective tissue and execution engine for LinkIt’s cross-functional product lifecycle. Sitting at the intersection of Product, Engineering, AI Transformation, and Client Services, this role ensures that roadmap commitments are delivered flawlessly from cradle to grave.

This is a high-visibility, "hands-on operator" role designed for a disciplined project leader who can manage technical release tracks, bridge communication gaps between technical and non-technical teams, and enforce organizational accountability through clear data and metrics.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cradle-to-Grave Product Delivery & PMO

  • Roadmap Custodian: Maintain enterprise PMO frameworks to track all strategic initiatives, ensuring that no roadmap milestones fall through the cracks.
  • Release Orchestration: Manage feature deployments from development to production, ensuring zero surprises for the broader business.
  • Operational Readiness: Lead internal training and hand-off processes immediately following feature validation, ensuring the Solutions Center (SC) and Account Management (AM) teams are fully equipped to deploy tools and train school districts.
  • Marketing Sync: Partner with the Marketing team to ensure client-facing guides, release notes, and feature announcements launch in perfect synchronization with engineering production pushes.
  • Third-Party & Buy vs. Build Evaluation: Assist with evaluating third-party software and conducting make-vs.-buy analyses to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Implementation Support: Assist with our customer implementation processes.

2. Cross-Functional AI Enablement

  • Requirement Synthesis: Collaborate with non-technical business units to identify operational friction points and convert legacy manual workflows into high-fidelity functional requirements.
  • AI Pipeline Integration: Serve as the lead project manager for the AI Operations track, ensuring that internal agentic AI tools are architected, validated, and deployed to drive organizational efficiency.

3. KPIs, Metrics & Board Reporting

  • Data-Driven Governance: Define, track, and maintain executive KPI dashboards across all core technical and operational pillars:
  • Engineering: Delivery velocity, sprint predictability, and hand-off efficiency.
  • AI Internal Utilities: Adoption rates, internal process time savings, and operational ROI.
  • Solutions Center & Data Team: Ingestion accuracy, validation turnaround, and system health metrics.
  • Executive Visibility: Consolidate departmental metrics, project trackers, and strategic milestones to assist the CTO/CIO in building high-impact presentations for the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in technical project management, product operations, tech consulting, or a fast-paced B2B SaaS environment.
  • Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, data workflows, and modern web application delivery. Direct experience with tech stacks interacting with APIs (e.g., Salesforce, Google, OneRoster, PowerSchool) is a plus.
  • AI Curiosity & Aptitude: Comfortable working around emerging generative/agentic AI technologies and eager to learn their structural frameworks to better support internal adoption.
  • The "Custodian" Mindset: A no-nonsense, highly organized executioner who isn't afraid to professionally hold senior leaders accountable to deadlines, ROI tracking, and single decision authority boundaries.
  • Communication: Exceptional ability to distill complex technical architecture into plain English for non-technical stakeholders, marketing teams, and executive board decks.

Logistics

  • Compensation: Salary Target: $110,000 – $150,000 (Commensurate with experience), Annual performance-based bonus
  • Benefits such as vacation, holiday pay, and health insurance
  • Reporting Line: Reports directly to the CTO/CIO
  • Location: Remote
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
