The Technical Project Manager will lead complex aerospace and defense projects from concept through delivery, ensuring technical excellence, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction. This role manages cross-functional engineering teams, oversees system integration activities, and serves as a key technical liaison for customers and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technical projects, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule, and performance goals.

  • Coordinate engineering activities across diverse disciplines, including systems engineering, integration, verification, and test.

  • Manage project risks, issues, and technical baselines while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.

  • Support proposal development, requirements definition, and technical documentation.

  • Serve as primary interface between engineering teams, customers, and suppliers, providing timely status updates and ensuring technical alignment.

  • Oversee integration and test activities for hardware and software systems, including development of test plans and procedures.

  • Facilitate engineering reviews, change management processes, and cross-organizational collaboration.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace, defense, or complex technical environments.

  • Proven experience managing technical projects involving system integration or engineering development.

  • Strong background in coordination of cross-functional engineering teams.

  • Excellent communication, risk management, and stakeholder-engagement skills.

  • Active Top Secret clearance strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with military aircraft systems, ground or training systems, or spaceflight hardware.

  • Familiarity with Engineering Review Boards, Change Boards, or system integration labs.

  • Prior leadership experience supporting international or government customers.
