SUMMARY: The Technical Project Manager will prepare, execute, and lead projects throughout the project lifecycle to meet the customer/stakeholder’s requirements and strategic company objectives. This position will lead all aspects of the assigned projects, including but not limited to, developing project requirements, defining roles and responsibilities, kick-off, execution, timeline management, internal & external communication, documentation, and closeout. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for on-time delivery and complete project management of aviation business related projects from kickoff to closeout.

Develop project charters, requirements, schedules, budgets, resource plans and detailed work execution to successfully complete the project objectives.

Coordinate and communicate resource requirements with cross-functional department leaders and personnel.

Organize internal and external meetings throughout different stages of the project.

Establish, follow-up and ensure that all timelines (internal and external) are respected, and processes are adhered to.

Manage project financial budgets and forecasts.

Complete required project status reporting when due.

Conduct project status review meetings and provide feedback to project and leadership teams.

Propose process improvements.

Work in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety acts and regulations, following safe work practices and procedures and using safeguards and personal protective equipment.

Report hazards (such as unsafe situations and activities) to their supervisor and the safety management system immediately.

Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
SKILLS AND/OR QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Experience managing projects with Microsoft Project, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Planner preferred.

Experience in the Aviation Industry is preferred.

Must have adaptability to listen, analyze, and convey new solutions to drive project performance and client satisfaction results.

Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.

Must have the ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.

Must be proficient in the English language with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

Must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Technical Project Manager in daily work performance.

Must be able to travel within the US and internationally.

Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and not be barred from any installation.

Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance as required.
EDUCATION AND/OR WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project management or related field

Bachelor’s degree in project management, business administration, or related field of study preferred.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred (PMP Certification in progress is also acceptable)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The Technical Project Manager must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time working at a computer and be able to listen and speak clearly on the telephone. They are also required to occasionally stand, bend, kneel, crouch and walk safely in a warehouse or aircraft hangar environment. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
