We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager based in the United States to join our dynamic Global Technology & Security team on a full-time 6-month contract with the potential for extension.
The Project Manager position within Global Technology & Security (GTS) is a role that will be responsible for leading and executing transformational technology projects and programs at Gen. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, independent but also a team player. This role will focus on ensuring successful delivery of large technology projects and fostering collaboration across various teams within the organization and offers a flexible mix of remote and in-office work.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:

Lead the planning and execution of information technology projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.

Collaborate with key stakeholders to define program scope, objectives, and success criteria.

Manage the day-to-day execution of technology projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets.

Work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate risks and resolve issues that may impact project delivery.

Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely and accurate project reporting to leadership.

Demonstrate a sense of urgency and ability to understand when and to whom to escalate.
Communication and Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Serve as a liaison between technical and business teams, ensuring effective communication and understanding of business requirements.

Be a trusted advisor to internal and external business partners/stakeholders.

Collaborate peers, security, and business leadership to align programs, projects, and operations with business objectives and strategies.
Quality Assurance:

Develop and implement quality assurance processes for projects, ensuring that deliverables meet established standards and requirements.

Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Identify and align technical, business or process risks and mitigation strategies with options and trade-offs.
Qualifications:

Possess over 3 years of experience working as a project or program manager delivering large-scale projects in information technology and/or information security.

Strong knowledge of program and project management methodologies and best practices (e.g. Prince 2 or PMBOK).

Preferably project management certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Prince2 or CPMP.

Prior experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system projects (e.g. Oracle ERP) and knowledge of finance processes.

Knowledge of relevant regulations and security/compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001).
