Technical Project Manager

Overview:

Sayers is highly seeking an experienced AI Technical Project Manager (TPM) for our enterprise Airline client, to lead and scale cybersecurity initiatives across Red Team, Incident Response (IR), and Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) functions. This role will drive the integration of AI/ML capabilities into security operations, enabling faster detection, response, and proactive threat mitigation.

The candidate is both technically fluent and program-driven, with a strong ability to lead cross-functional teams, deliver measurable outcomes, and bring structure to complex security initiatives.

· Lead end-to-end delivery of AI-driven cybersecurity programs across Cyber Defense

· Develop and manage roadmaps, timelines, and milestones aligned with security and business objectives

· Drive quick wins while building long-term scalable capabilities

· Identify, track, and mitigate risks, dependencies, and blockers Document agent workflows, decision frameworks, and continuous improvement recommendations.

· Partner with security engineering and data science teams to integrate AI/ML models into detection and response workflows

· Enable automation of threat detection, triage, and response using AI-driven tools

· Define use cases for AI across attack simulation (Red Team), incident response, and threat intelligence analysis

· Coordinate and manage adversary simulation exercises and penetration testing programs

· Integrate AI-driven tools to enhance attack emulation and vulnerability discovery

· Track findings and ensure remediation efforts are prioritized and completed

· Oversee programs that improve incident detection, triage, and response times

· Establish and refine incident management processes, playbooks, and post-incident reviews

· Partner with SOC teams to enhance automation and orchestration (SOAR) capabilities

· Drive initiatives to enhance threat intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination

· Integrate AI to improve threat correlation, enrichment, and predictive analysis

· Ensuring intelligence is actionable and aligned with business risk priorities

· Collaborate with security, engineering, DevOps, and executive leadership

· Translate technical initiatives into business impact and measurable outcomes

· Provide regular updates on program status, risks, and KPIs

· 5–10+ years of experience in Technical Program Management or related roles

· Strong background in cybersecurity, with exposure to Red Team, Incident Response, and/or CTI

· Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in security operations

· Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional programs in fast-paced environments

· Experience with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid delivery methodologies

· AI-driven threat detection and autonomous triage

· Automated incident response and remediation workflows

· AI-assisted threat hunting and anomaly detection

· Securing and validating AI/LLM-based systems (prompt injection, data leakage, etc.)

· Hands-on experience with security tools (SIEM, EDR, SOAR, threat intel platforms)

· Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, and Zero Trust

· Experience implementing or managing AI-driven security solutions

· Background in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)

· Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CISSP, CISM, Security+, or AI-related certifications)

· Highly driven with a bias for action and delivery

· Strong problem-solver who can remove blockers and drive momentum

· Able to balance technical depth with program execution

· Skilled at turning complex challenges into clear, actionable plans

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
