Position: Technical Program Manager (TPM)
Schedule: This full-time position will work from the Augustine Institute campus in Florissant, Missouri.
Reporting to: Director of Technology Services
Position Summary
The Augustine Institute seeks a Technical Program Manager to drive and deliver technology initiatives, enabling the organization’s mission of helping Catholics understand, live, and share their faith.
Specific duties are listed below, but may not be all-inclusive.

Manage delivery of technology initiatives from intake through launch

Gather, refine, and structure business and technical requirements

Translate concepts into actionable plans, roadmaps, and scoped work

Drive alignment across engineering, product, and business stakeholders

Break down work into epics, stories, and deliverables with clear ownership

Manage timelines, dependencies, and priorities across initiatives
-
Proactively identify risks, gaps, and blockers—and drive resolution
-
Maintain visibility into initiative health, progress, and outcomes
-
Communicate clearly with both technical teams and stakeholders
-
Continuously improve delivery processes and team operating rhythms

Step into gaps as needed to ensure forward momentum and execution
Qualifications
-
5+ years of experience in technology delivery, software development, business analysis, or project management.

2+ years of experience in a TPM or equivalent role.

Experience with SDLC, tools, and best practices.

Experience delivering leadership-level progress and status reporting

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
Skills and Abilities

Ability to translate ideas into structured execution plans

Solid understanding of software development lifecycles, system architecture, and modern application patterns

Experience working closely with engineering teams and driving delivery outcomes

Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools (preferred: Jira, Confluence)

Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage concurrent projects

Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Fluent using Artificial Intelligence to streamline workflows

Proactive, with a strong sense of agency and ownership
