Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented WordPress Technical Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of WordPress web development projects.

You’ll act as the key bridge between clients, designers, developers, QA teams, and leadership, ensuring clarity, smooth communication, and on-time delivery. From discovery to deployment, you’ll define scope, manage timelines, allocate resources, and maintain high-quality standards.
Experience with AI tools for estimation, QA, and automation will be an added advantage.

Work Arrangement Requirement:
This role requires working onsite from our Ahmedabad office for the first 6 months. After the initial on-site period, the role will transition to a remote working model.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of WordPress projects (custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce, multisite, etc.)
• Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, create briefs, and define milestones
• Convert business and technical needs into structured project plans and tasks
• Coordinate with developers, designers, QA, SEO, and other stakeholders
• Lead sprint planning, stand-ups, and weekly project reviews (ClickUp/Jira)
• Track timelines, billable hours, delivery margins, and resource utilisation
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, coding standards, and QA processes
• Identify risks, manage scope changes, and escalate blockers
• Maintain clear and proactive communication with clients
• Explore and integrate AI tools to improve estimation, QA, and internal workflows

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of project management experience (minimum 2 years on WordPress projects)
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture: themes, plugins, ACF, Elementor, Gutenberg, WooCommerce, HTML, CSS
• Ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously
• Proficiency with ClickUp, Jira, or Trello
• Strong documentation, briefing, and client communication skills
• Familiarity with Git workflows, deployments, and basic server environments
• Experience working with distributed cross-functional teams

Bonus Skills (Good to Have)

• Knowledge of technical SEO, performance optimisation, or ADA compliance
• Exposure to AI-based tools (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) for QA automation and estimation
• Experience in digital or white-label agency environments
• Understanding of frontend frameworks or headless WordPress setups

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
