Technical Sales & Application Engineer (Electrical)

ORION EE is a leading company in developing and producing advanced products in MV/LV switchgear equipment with its highly motivated and dynamic team. For our growing team, we are looking for;

Technical Sales & Application Engineer (Electrical)

who will be responsible for:

• Provide technical support and expertise for ORION EE’s MV/LV measurement, protection, and monitoring systems.
• Support the sales process by preparing technical proposals, product configurations, and detailed quotations.
• Act as the key technical interface between customers, the sales team, and the R&D department.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical specifications and optimized solutions .
• Prepare and deliver technical presentations, product trainings, and demonstrations for customers and partners.
• Participate in tender documentation , technical evaluations , and project offers .
• Coordinate with the R&D and production teams to ensure accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Provide technical support during project execution , including validation and testing when necessary.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products, and standards to identify new business and technology opportunities.
• Ensure compliance of all solutions with industry regulations and company quality standards .

with skill / qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical-Electronics Engineering , Energy Systems Engineering , or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in technical sales , application engineering , or pre-sales support , preferably in power systems or switchgear industry .
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV distribution systems , protection equipment , and communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, project specifications, and tender documents .
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with a strong customer-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM tools , ERP systems , and technical reporting.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); a second language is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.

• Knowledge about SMART GRIDS , SCADA , and IoT-based monitoring systems .
• Experience in protection , testing , or commissioning .
• Understanding of IEC standards related to switchgear and electrical systems.
