About:
Meraj Limited is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer with 3–4 years of experience in a similar industry. The role requires a technically strong, commercially smart individual capable of managing inquiries, tenders, and customer requirements from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage sales inquiries, RFQs, and tender opportunities for specialized vehicles, fire trucks, and industrial equipment.
- Prepare technical specifications, compliance statements, BOQs, and cost estimations for private and government sector clients.
- Review tender documents and ensure all technical and commercial requirements are accurately addressed.
- Prepare and submit technical and financial proposals, ensuring compliance with client specifications.
- Coordinate with engineering, design, and production teams for technical clarifications and product configurations.
- Support clients with product selection, sizing, and technical recommendations as per application needs.
- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to clarify solutions and build strong customer relationships.
- Maintain and update a pipeline of sales opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and reporting to management.
- Assist in post-bid negotiations, order finalization, and handover to project and execution teams.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- Strong knowledge of tendering processes, cost estimation, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD (or equivalent tools).
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
