Technical Sales Engineer

Full job description

We are looking for a skilled and experienced a Technical Sales Engineer with a strong background in Oil and Gas. The ideal candidate should have:

Summary – basic function of the role

We are looking for an experienced Sales Technical Engineer to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role is centered around supporting Qatar’s expanding pipeline of new projects, one of our key growth markets. The position is highly field-based, working closely with EPCs and subcontractors across greenfield and new-build environments. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on being out of the office, spending time on customer sites, developing new relationships, and driving sales through consistent, hands-on engagement.

  • Proven experience in sales within O&G
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, particularly with key Oil & Gas clients, to build long-term partnerships.
  • Engage potential customers through site and company visits to gather enquiries and technical requirements.
  • Able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations
  • Site work may be required in occasions
  • Specify products, services and solutions at end-users

Your Qualifications

  • Academic Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in relevant disciplines.
  • Total years of Experience 3- 6 years
  • Experience in Qatar is preferable.
  • Qatar Driving License is Mandatory
  • Strong technical knowledge in NDT Inspection , Maintenance
  • Demonstrated history of working with a mechanical wholesale distributor or with prior experience in handling Mechanical services to the oil and gas industry
  • Previous experience working with clients like NOC, Qatar Energy, Qatar Gas LNG and supplying to the Oil & Gas industry
