Technical Sales Engineer

Technical Sales Engineer – PCD Qatar

PCD trading and contracting is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to support the growth of our concrete cutting, coring, demolition services, and diamond tools / equipment business in Qatar.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for developing business with construction companies across Qatar, promoting both our specialist contracting services and Diapower diamond tools, machines, and related equipment.

This is a technical, site-driven sales role. You will be expected to engage with engineers and site teams, understand requirements, propose solutions, and manage the full cycle from first contact through to payment collection.

Key Responsibilities

  • Introduce PCD services (cutting, coring, demolition, scanning) to contractors and project teams
  • Promote and sell diamond tools, core drilling equipment, and related machinery
  • Visit sites to understand technical requirements and propose suitable solutions
  • Identify and secure new work opportunities (services and product supply)
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations
  • Negotiate with clients and close deals
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and engineers
  • Follow up on payments and ensure collections are completed

Requirements

  • Experience in Qatar construction market preferred
  • Background in technical sales, engineering, or construction-related roles
  • Existing network of contractors and contacts is a strong advantage
  • Ability to understand site requirements and recommend practical solutions
  • Confident communicator with a results-driven approach
  • Qatar driver’s license (own car a major advantage)

Package

  • Small basic salary
  • Up to 10% commission based on performance
