We are hiring for a proactive Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth in home automation and lighting control projects. If you have a strong technical background combined with sales expertise, this is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities in home automation and lighting control projects, build and maintain relationships with developers, consultants, contractors, and end users, prepare and follow up on quotations, tenders, and commercial proposals, achieve assigned sales targets, and conduct product presentations and system demonstrations.
- Technical & Pre-Sales Support: Understand project requirements and propose suitable automation solutions, assist in system design, BOQs, compliance submittals, and technical documentation, coordinate with design, engineering, and commissioning teams, and support site meetings, mockups, and client approvals.
- Products & Systems Knowledge: Work with lighting control and automation systems such as KNX, DALI, Dynalite, Crestron, Control4, and wireless systems, understand integration with lighting, HVAC, curtains, AV, and BMS, and stay updated on new products, technologies, and market trends.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or Automation Engineering
Experience:
- 3–4 years UAE or regional experience in home automation / lighting control / BMS sales
- Exposure to residential villas, apartments, offices, retail, or hospitality projects
Technical Skills:
- Good understanding of lighting control concepts (dimming, scenes, sensors)
- Ability to read drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with CRM tools and MS Office
