Technical Sales Representative- Florida

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a customer-focused sales professional who can build strong relationships, identify growth opportunities, and effectively represent FLANDERS' products and services. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, and technically inclined, with the ability to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and nurture sales leads with existing and prospective customers, and execute action plans to secure new business.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of FLANDERS' products, services, and capabilities to effectively promote solutions.
  • Build and sustain strong customer relationships to ensure excellent service and long-term partnerships.
  • Represent FLANDERS in a professional and positive manner with customers, vendors, and competitors.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction; promptly investigate, resolve, or escalate issues to appropriate internal teams. Provide technical guidance to customers and FLANDERS Field Technicians as needed.
  • Attend customer meetings to identify opportunities, qualify leads, and prepare quotes for products and Field Services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams-including Engineering, Product Development, Field Services, and Aftermarket-to support sales efforts.
  • Coordinate and request Field Service support through appropriate internal channels.
  • Develop scope of work, material requirements, and quotes for Field Services, working with Field Service leads on capacity planning and customer commitments.

What You'll Need

  • Working knowledge of FLANDERS' products and services (or the ability to quickly develop this expertise).
  • Understanding of customer needs and the ability to anticipate future opportunities.
  • Familiarity with competing products and companies to effectively position solutions.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical aptitude to provide guidance and support to customers and internal teams.

Additional Expectations

  • Maintain and continuously update accurate customer sales data, including tracking sales activity, concerns, and feedback.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and business outcomes.
  • Uphold FLANDERS' reputation by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and responsiveness in all interactions.
