JASARA PMC is on the lookout for a Technical Senior Specialist in Area Development to play a critical role in the planning and execution of theme park projects. In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of area development, ensuring that all designs align with the overall theme park vision and meet international standards for safety, functionality, and guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical development and implementation of area designs, ensuring they align with thematic elements and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with architects, landscape designers, and engineers to create cohesive layouts and immersive environments
• Evaluate design packages and provide feedback to ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
• Coordinate with project managers to develop schedules, ensuring timely delivery of area development tasks
• Act as the technical liaison between various stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, and internal teams, to facilitate effective communication and project execution
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to design specifications
• Identify potential challenges and proactively propose solutions to mitigate risks during the area development process
• Ensure that area developments adhere to local regulations, building codes, and safety standards
• Respond to updates in project scope and adapt technical plans accordingly
• Maintain awareness of industry trends and innovations related to area development in theme parks
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in area development or technical project management in the theme park or entertainment sector
• Proven experience in large-scale landscape design and area planning projects
• Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modeling tools
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with experience collaborating with diverse teams
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify and resolve technical challenges
• Knowledge of sustainable design principles and practices is a plus
• Enthusiastic about creating unique, engaging experiences in theme park environments
