Technical Service Representative (Manufacturing)

Gold Medal Products Co. is a continually-growing company that has been in business for 90 years. We’re the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of popcorn and “fun food” concession equipment & supplies.

Due to our continued growth we have a Technical Service Rep position available that will assist internal and external customers with product problems and take associated parts orders both on the phone and by email.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist customers with product problems through diagnostic means and process parts orders.
• Keep current with product knowledge. May include spending time in assembly and the repair department.
• Occasionally assist with customer training, dealer conference, assisting engineering with product testing.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Electromechanical aptitude enabling diagnostics and repair of basic food machine equipment using Multimeter or other diagnostic tools.
• Basic understanding of a manufacturing Bill of Material
• Basic understand of electrical wiring diagrams.
• Great communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with both internal and external customers.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
