JOB TITLE: Service Technician

LOCATION: Bellevue, WA

SALARY RANGE: $23.00 - $30.00.

JOB DESCRIPTION

ATAGO U.S.A., Inc, has an immediate need for a Service Technician for the Service Division. This position offers opportunities for a career in a professional office environment. Candidates need to be good team players and work together with other members to achieve departmental and company targets. This position focuses on

performing inspection, repair, calibration for customers' instruments and communicating with customers for service-related inquiries.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn about ATAGO devices and become an expert with each unit.
• Know how to properly use, troubleshoot, and demonstrate all ATAGO products.
• Perform inspection, repair, and calibration for incoming instruments.
• Follow service procedures in detail to perform inspection and repair correctly.
• Respond to e-mail and telephone for service-related inquiries in a timely manner and provide the best customer service. Activities include, but are not limited to:

v Providing service request forms and quotations of the repair costs.

v Arrange a loaner unit at the customer’s request.

v Responding to technical questions in English, Japanese and Spanish.

v Arrange shipment for customer’s instruments after service is completed.

• Customer visits to conduct an onsite inspection in ATAGO USA territories.
• Keep close communication with the customer service representative and share accurate information with customers.
• Arrange to ship customers instruments after service is completed.
• Prepare monthly Service activity reports.
• Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Service Technician experience 2 to 3 years.
• Ability to work well individually or as a team.
• Organized, efficient and self-motivated with a high level of attention to detail.
• Bilingual (Japanese or Spanish) a plus.
• Experience/background in food science, agriculture, food manufacturing, beverage industry,

chemical, pharmaceutical, or clinical knowledge a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Valid Driver’s license.
