Job Summary

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Da-Ly Realty is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Technical Support Agent to join our remote team. In this role, you will provide technical assistance and support to employees and real estate professionals by troubleshooting hardware, software, and system-related issues while ensuring the efficient operation of business technologies.

The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills with a passion for delivering exceptional technical support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide remote technical support via phone, email, live chat, and remote desktop tools.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application-related issues.
  • Assist employees and agents with login problems, password resets, and account access requests.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications and system updates.
  • Support Microsoft Office 365, email systems, collaboration tools, and business applications.
  • Document technical issues and resolutions within the company's ticketing system.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT personnel or management when necessary.
  • Assist with onboarding and setup of equipment and technology for new employees and agents.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation and user guides.
  • Provide training and guidance on technology best practices and cybersecurity awareness.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and security of company and client information.

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of technical support, help desk, or IT support experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office 365, and common business applications.
  • Familiarity with remote desktop software and ticket management systems.
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts, cloud applications, and cybersecurity practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting remote employees and distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, transaction management platforms, and real estate technology applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or other industry certifications are a plus.
  • Knowledge of real estate software platforms and MLS systems is preferred.
