Technical Support Representative

We are seeking a Technical Support Representative who will be responsible for deployment and technical support for hardware and payment gateways. They will be responsible for terminal and payment gateway customer service and trainings. This entry-level role does not require prior technical experience but rather a technical aptitude, exceptional customer service skills, and a knack for solving problems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensures that hardware and payment gateways are fully deployed, implemented and functioning
• Set up and troubleshoot POS, software, payment gateways and other credit card processing applications
• Download, set up and troubleshoot credit card processing hardware, including terminals, pin pads and card readers
• Keeps inventory of hardware
• Communicates with merchant support for assistance and other departments as necessary

QUALIFICATIONS:

• One year of experience in Merchant Services preferred
• Experience in cashiering, retail, or food service involving payment processing or POS systems is highly desirable
• Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, relationship building and presentation skills
• Strongly self-motivated with a drive to succeed
• Strong work ethic and self-discipline
• PC literate with Microsoft Office experience
• Must have a clean driving record. You may need to drive to merchant locations to install equipment
• Bilingual required (Spanish, Mandarin or Korean)

SALARY:

This role includes biannual profit-sharing bonuses as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, retirement planning, and/or other benefits.

• Base hourly range: $17.00 - $21.00/hr
• Salary including biannual profit-sharing bonus and comprehensive benefits program range (annualized): $50,157 - $60,141
