Employment Type: Contract (Payroll managed through our partnering firm - Prime Innovation)

Qualifications:

  • Technical/Engineering Diploma in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years of training experience.
  • At least 5 years of industrial experience in the oil & gas industry.

Preferred:

  • Competence-based assessment experience (e.g., NVQ).
  • A1 or V1 / D32 or D33 certification.
  • High proficiency in IT and presentation skills.
  • Certified Trainer or 'Train the Trainer' qualification.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain training programs, materials, assessments, and procedures.
  • Support recruitment and selection of training associates/assistants.
  • Ensure adequate and suitable equipment in workshops and laboratories.
  • Source redundant equipment for training purposes.
  • Create and implement written and performance assessments.
  • Deliver training sessions and presentations.
  • Evaluate trainee portfolios to meet External Verifier and Awarding Body standards.
  • Support trainee certification as NVQ Assessors.
  • Ensure program standards are maintained at the center and workplace (OJT).
  • Implement and maintain Quality Assurance systems and policies.
  • Manage teaching and assessment schedules.
  • Coach and train technicians as needed.
  • Prepare reports and suggest improvements for training programs.
