Job Title: Product Technical Writer

We are looking for a highly skilled Product Technical Writer to join our growing engineering and product organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced technology environments and is experienced in documenting complex systems, APIs, product flows, and technical requirements for large-scale consumer platforms.

You will work closely with Product Managers, Architects, Backend/Frontend Engineers, DevOps, QA, and UI/UX teams to translate technical concepts into clear, structured documentation that supports both internal development and external stakeholders.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Documentation

• Create and maintain detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
• Develop comprehensive feature specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Document product workflows, use cases, and operational logic for complex systems.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure documentation accuracy.

Technical Documentation

• Write and maintain API documentation, technical overviews, architecture notes, and integration guides.
• Translate development discussions, system designs, and sprint outputs into structured technical documentation.
• Maintain version-control documentation for evolving product features and backend logic.

Process & Release Documentation

• Prepare release notes, change logs, and functional updates for internal and external use.
• Create documentation standards, templates, and best practices across the organization.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Frontend/Backend teams to capture technical requirements.
• Participate in sprint planning, grooming, and feature definition sessions.
• Ensure all teams have up-to-date and accessible documentation before development begins.

Qualifications

Required

• 3+ years experience as a Technical Writer, Product Writer, Business Analyst, or similar role in a tech-oriented company.
• Strong understanding of software development processes (Agile/Scrum).
• Ability to translate highly technical concepts into clear, concise documentation.
• Experience writing PRDs, user flows, system requirement specs, and technical architecture summaries.
• Excellent written English with strong attention to detail.

Preferred

• Experience in Web3, fintech, gaming, or trading platform environments.
• Understanding of APIs, microservices, system integrations, and cloud environments (AWS preferred).
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Jira, Figma, Postman, GitHub, Notion, or similar documentation platforms.
• Ability to work with globally distributed teams.
