Technical Writer

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Technical Writer to develop, edit, and maintain high-quality documentation that supports business operations, compliance, and technical processes. The ideal candidate will have experience translating complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly content for a variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, edit, and maintain technical documentation such as:
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Work Instructions
  • Policies and Procedures
  • Training Materials
  • User Manuals and Guides
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear and easy-to-understand content
  • Collaborate with SMEs, engineers, and cross-functional teams to gather and validate information
  • Ensure documentation complies with internal standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, OSHA, ISO)
  • Manage document control processes, including versioning, formatting, and approvals
  • Review and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Support audits and inspections by ensuring proper documentation is in place
  • Maintain document repositories and ensure accessibility for end users
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives and standardization efforts

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Engineering, or related field
  • 3–5+ years of experience in technical writing or document control
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English and Spanish
  • Familiarity with document control systems and tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SOP development and process documentation
  • Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, Visio, or similar
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
