PURPOSE
Technician to Install, Repair/ maintenance/ trouble shooting of all electrical systems and the solar systems components such as: Concrete foundation, Mounting structure, PV Modules, DC & AC Cables, Inverters, and all other Solar Systems components.
Responsibilities

Install, Repair/ maintenance/ trouble shooting of all electrical systems
-
Mechanical/structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.

Following layout of solar modules.
-
Building, and calculate detailed bills of materials.
-
Ability to read design drawings, simulations and implement it as per design literally.

Good knowledge with PV Systems.

Understanding/experience with electrical wiring of AC and DC systems

Repair/maintenance/trouble shoot electrical equipment’s/fixtures and devices

Cleaning for PV modules as needed
-
Follow safety rules and report on safety issues.
-
Communicate project updates on daily bases to reporting supervisor/ engineer.
-
Ability to estimate the needed time for the project.
-
Estimate and report project manager with the needed BoQ and tools for the project.
-
Ability to perform a site visit to the sites and get the needed information as per the engineers’ requirements.
-
Repairing or replacing faulty equipment.
-
Keeping abreast of advancements in the field and attending workshops as required.
-
Supervise the subcontractors and materials handling.
-
Prepare daily/monthly report.
Requirements
-
Diploma degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related discipline.
-
2+ years’ experience in Systems Installation.
-
Strong technical background.
-
Implementation of several other electrical and mechanical systems.
-
Fair knowledge of Safety and Risk assessment.
-
English required.
Preferred Skills
-
Use different energy instruments (Power Analyzer, multimeter, Seaward, Earthing Tester, Insulation tester and other measurement devises)

SEC Certified Solar Installer
