JOB DESCRIPTION – AUTOMOBILE TECHNICIAN

Position: Technician

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections
• Conduct test drives to identify problems
• Replace defective parts and perform necessary adjustments
• Maintain service records and reports accurately
• Ensure workshop safety and cleanliness
• Provide technical support to service advisors and customers
• Keep up-to-date with latest automobile technology and repair techniques

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / ITI / Trade Certificate in Automobile / Mechanical / Electrical field
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems (engine, brakes, transmission, etc.)
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Hands-on experience in repairing cars or two-wheelers (preferred)
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills for interaction with team and customers

Experience:

• 1 – 3 years (Fresher candidates can apply if trained)
