Technician - Electrical & HVAC

Location: Djibouti, East Africa

Electrical and Cold Storage technician with Chiller experience required.

We are looking for a technician with good experience for repairing and maintaining Cold Storage Facilities and Electrical Experience

Experience required: 3 to 5 years

Language:

English is a must.

French is an added benefit.

Job Responsibility:

• Visit the work site and understand the scope of work.
• Responsible for overseeing the work of refrigeration maintenance and ensure smooth operations for Cold stores and Chillers with desired quality.
• Trouble shooting skills of all kind of breakdowns.
• Attend to Emergency calls whenever required ( even after working hours ) as per the instructions of In charge.
• Support the field staff in carrying tools to and fro from vehicle to work site
• Arranging spare parts as per the requirement on site.
• Check existing refrigeration/air-conditioning systems for leaks and faults
• Perform general maintenance & repair
• Troubleshooting systems and repairing/replacing defective parts
• Connecting low-voltage electric wire and components
• Install new wiring in buildings
• Install switches, relays, or other power distribution equipment
• Test electrical systems to ensure they’re functioning properly
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems or faulty electrical equipment
