Technician – ELECTRO MECHANIC

Job Objective

Maintaining, diagnosing and fixing the complex blend of mechanical, electrical and electronic systems found in automated CNC hydraulic, pneumatic machines, tools and control systems

Responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of various items of machinery and tools in the production department as well as carrying out tasks required by his supervisor to ensure the attainment of Dorso Partitions and False Ceilings’ strategic plan, vision, mission, values, goals and objectives.

Essential Functions

§ Trouble shooting diagnosing issues in mechanical servo and motors, power supplies, wiring and controls, PLC components

§ Repairing calibrate sensors servomechanisms, motors and control units

§ Reading schematic diagrams for electrical, mechanical and electronic systems

§ Preventive maintenance to prevent breakdowns

§ Trace, allocate defective parts or items and repair or change these items

§ Perform a wide variety of general machinery and equipment maintenance repairs and services using minimum time for breakdown maintenance

§ Schedule, complete and document the “Preventive Maintenance Program”

§ Complete daily maintenance logs

§ Maintain the efficient function of machinery and equipment in the Production Department

§ Responsible for alerting the Production Manager of any unusual occurrence and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur

§ Maintain safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures

Other Functions

§ Assure safety standards are used which comply with Dorso Partitions and False Ceilings set codes and guidelines

§ Read and understand machine manuals and diagrams

§ Follow Production Manager's instructions

§ Adhere to Dorso Partitions and False Ceilings LLC’s rules and regulations; written or implied and any changes or introductions, which may vary from time to time as deemed appropriate

§ Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications and Experience

§ Possess a Technical Institute Certificate

§ 2 years of experience in a similar field

Authority and Scope of Responsibility

No direct authority over activities of staff

Skills required

§ Ability to read and write English

§ Basic knowledge of computers

§ Ability to work as a part of a team

§ Ability to lift up to 25 kg

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
